UK Tech Week 2026 Partner Spotlight: CyNam

In the lead-up to UK Tech Week 2026, we’re shining a spotlight on the partners helping to shape and champion the UK’s tech ecosystem. Through this series, you’ll hear directly from our partners about who they are, what they’re planning for UK Tech Week, and why collaboration across the nation matters more than ever.

In this feature, we speak to CyNam to learn more about the Tech Futures Summit they’re hosting in collaboration with Patch, why they’re shouting out local organisation Hub8, and the importance of showcasing the Gloucestershire tech ecosystem to a national audience during UKTW.

1. Tell us about your festival or organisation

CyNam is a not-for-profit organisation that supports and grows the cybersecurity and wider cyber-tech ecosystem in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire.

We connect industry, academia, government, and the community through events, programmes, and partnerships, helping organisations collaborate, innovate, and build capability across cyber and related technologies.

2. What event will you be running as part of UK Tech Week 2026?

We have a complete event series that we are running this week in collaboration with Patch: Tech Futures Summit.

Taking place on 18th and 19th March, this two-day event will inaugurate Patch’s new co-working space in the heart of Gloucester.

Uniting founders, investors, and change makers from across the Cyber and Tech community, this summit will offer engaging live discussions, interactive workshops, and exclusive networking opportunities. The webpage can be seen here.

3. UK Tech Week is about encouraging regional and national collaboration. Can you spotlight another tech organisation in your region people should know about?

Hub8 by Plexal are another active regional organisation who are at the heart of Cheltenham’s cyber and tech ecosystem and host a range of community events (I’m not sure they have anything going on during UK Tech Week though).

4. Why are you taking part in UK Tech Week 2026?

We are taking part in UK Tech Week to showcase the strength, capability, and unity of our region to a national audience.

Through this, we aim to highlight what the Gloucestershire cyber and tech ecosystem has to offer, while inviting organisations from across the UK to engage with the region, build valuable connections, and gain meaningful insights.
