The inaugural Digital Lincolnshire Leaders Forum is organised by Business Lincolnshire and brings together leaders from a diverse range of digital and tech businesses across Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland.

Launched in October 2022 as an online resource to showcase the sector, Digital Lincolnshire is developing as a network and events programme to promote collaboration, develop sector skills and attract talent.

Businesses represented are from across the region, from Gainsborough and Grimsby in the north of the county to Market Deeping and Stamford in the south.

Lincoln is fast becoming a hub for digital and technology businesses, with 58% of Digital Lincolnshire businesses situated in and around the city. The expansion of spaces such as Mosaic, Lincoln’s Digital Hub, and the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park, reflects this trend, catering specifically to digital, creative, and technology enterprises.

From a sector perspective, Digital Lincolnshire organisations range from broader digital categories including Media and Creative, Software Development, and IT Services and Support, to emerging tech specialisms around Agri-Food, Defence and Security.

These specialisms point to Greater Lincolnshire’s strengths in tech innovation, as demonstrated by the recent Innovate UK Launchpad for Agri-Tech in Eastern England, and the Greater Lincolnshire Defence and Security Cluster, one of only three sector clusters in the UK recognised by The Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) for bidding opportunities and innovation.

Digital Lincolnshire events form part of an expanding tech and digital programme, supported by Business Lincolnshire and its wider ecosystem partners across the region.

David Regler, Digital Sector Growth Manager said:

“We’re excited to include the inaugural Digital Lincolnshire Leaders Forum in this year’s UK Tech Week. Digital Lincolnshire was launched in 2022 to showcase the diversity of tech and digital businesses across Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland, and has now developed into a vibrant network and events programme to support this fast growing sector.”
