Dynamo North East is a tech sector membership organisation with over 100 members, including startups, scale-ups, large corporations, education providers, public sector bodies, and government departments. As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (C.I.C.), we bring the region’s tech community together to encourage collaboration, innovation, and drive sustainable growth across the North East of England.
Our vision is for a North East of England where our members drive a world-class tech ecosystem that connects businesses, strengthens communities and ends digital exclusion. We’re on a mission to champion our members and amplify their impact. Dynamo’s work revolves around growing the North East tech economy, delivered through three core pillars: Member Voices & Impact, Brand Exposure & Connections, and Tech Talent & Careers.
Dynamo delivers a wide range of events, including high-impact flagship activities such as the Dynamites Awards, the North East Tech Charity Dinner, leadership forums, and sector networking events. These activities bring our core pillars to life, with members receiving substantial benefits and priority access.
Nationally, Dynamo is proud to support and collaborate with other not-for-profit tech ecosystem organisations and initiatives, working together to strengthen connections, share best practice, and enhance the UK tech sector as a whole.
