The Startup Coalition, previously known as Coadec, is an independent advocacy group that serves as the policy voice for technology-led start ups and scaleups in the UK. The Startup Coalition was founded by entrepreneurs – for entrepreneurs – and fights for a policy environment that enables early-stage British tech companies to grow, scale and compete globally.
We have over 3,500 startups and investors in our network and have been instrumental in building proactive coalitions of businesses and investors on issues that are integral to the health of the UK’s startup ecosystem. Our recent work has seen many successes, including the design and establishment of the Future Fund and the creation of new technology-focused visas. Find us on LinkedIn.
Dom Hallas, Executive Director at Startup Coalition
“Startups and scaleups are no longer just clustered around a roundabout in Shoreditch – they spread across the length and breadth of the whole UK. That means at the Startup Coalition we want to make sure that as part of UK Tech Week we get politicians to hear from founders directly in the ecosystems where they are building Britain’s future economy.”
