Sheffield AI: March Event

Join us on Tuesday 18th March at Sheffield Plate for your spring instalment of Sheffield AI.

Come join us at our new event on Tuesday 18th March for two excellent talks and networking with the AI community in Sheffield. This month we will have Alex Kelly’s postponed talk from the last event PLUS Andrew Longman talking to us about Promptable.

Don’t miss it!

Promptable – Andrew Longman

Andrew Longman will talk to us about Promptable, a prompt development tool/ agent builder that focuses on building really strong prompts in your automation workflows. We’ll be turning it into more of an agent builder with RAG & tools down the line.

The AI Behind Affordable Robotics – Alex Kelly

This talk explores how advances in AI and open-source technologies are making affordable robotics a reality, enabling more people to engage with robotics innovation whether in the home, office or factory.

  • Cheap robots from £120
  • Understand the Neural network architectures powering these models
  • Train in a simulated world (reinforcement learning) for faster convergence
