Startup Studio Graduation & Founder Networking

Celebrate the graduation of the first-ever Startup Studio cohort in Leeds, a unique, hands-on programme designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs as they take their first steps into startup life.

Delivered as part of the Regional Tech Booster programme, this initiative supported first-time founders, students and professionals to turn ideas into opportunities.

Throughout the programme, participants explored everything from validating ideas and understanding customers to testing concepts, accessing funding and building strong support networks.

Over the course of the Startup Studio, founders worked on:

• Turning ideas into viable opportunities
• Understanding markets and customer needs
• Building and testing early concepts
• Connecting with mentors, networks, and local ecosystems
• Exploring funding routes and next steps

Participants have concluded the programme with a validated startup idea, a defined value proposition, a practical action plan, and a strong peer and mentor network.

This event marks the programme’s completion and brings graduates together with the wider Leeds tech community for an informal networking session, offering a chance to make connections, share journeys, and spark future collaboration.
