York Angels Launch Event

Tech York is proud to present the launch of York Angels, an angel investor network bringing together accomplished entrepreneurs, business leaders, and subject matter experts who are passionate about investing in and supporting local entrepreneurs within our region.

Their aim is to support entrepreneurs who are eager to scale and succeed, offering them tailored connections, access to seed capital, and guidance from investors who genuinely understand their challenges.

This event will feature:
• An introduction from the York Angels team, explaining their vision for how York Angels will contribute to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• A panel discussion including two York Angels-backed startups: Toby Cannon the CEO of Myles Wellbeing & Prof Dan Franks the CEO of Causa; alongside Stephen Waud the CEO of the Business & Enterprise Finance Group.
• Flash talks from York Angels’ partners who provide startup services to help you raise and manage your startup’s capital.
• Plenty of time and drinks for networking.

Arrival from 7pm with the event starting at 7.30pm prompt.

Access Information:
The Hall is accessible to wheelchair users with level access from the Fossgate entrance and a lift facility between both floors of the venue.
